First let's consider some of the serious side effects of using Rogaine. Some of the more serious side effects would be that of chest pain, think Ms., sudden unexplained weight gain, rapid heartbeat, and even chest pain or swelling of the extremities. Of course if any of these such serious side effects should happen you would want to immediately call your doctor.

Because any breakage of the scan will cause Rogaine to get into the body more quickly it is advisable not to use the product should your scalp have any type of skin abrasions. Even sunburn can increase the absorption of Rogaine.

In clinical trials 6% of those participating experience dryness and flaking resulting in an itchy scalp. I would say that is a minimal side effect.

Another problem with using Rogaine is that the discontinuing of using this product means that the hair that had been reground will go back to its original state which means hair loss. In fact many people think that when they stop using Rogaine their hair actually falls out faster than before. While going bald may take time to discontinuing the use of Rogaine will result in hair loss faster than it had fallen out over the span of time actually.
